We want you to enjoy the best Wildwood, NJ rides at Morey’s Piers. So, we’ve put together a list of our favorite rides at each pier.

Surfside Amusement Pier

Location: 26th Avenue and Boardwalk

Surfside Amusement Pier opened in 1969 with a large fiberglass slide that cost 25 cents to ride. Since that time, the pier has grown leaps and bounds. Today, it offers a wide range of rides, including:

Zoom Phloom

The Zoom Phloom is “one of the longest, tallest, and steepest log flumes on the East Coast,” according to Morey’s Piers. It features two steep drops, perfect for those who want to enjoy the thrill of a flume ride and cool off on a hot day.

AtmosFEAR

The AtmosFEAR is a dream come true for anyone who loves riding roller coasters. This ride starts by slowly taking you 140 feet above the ground. Then, it pauses for about a second at the top, then drops. You’ll plummet back toward the Boardwalk until you safely return to the pier at ground level.

The Great Nor’easter

Who says you have to wait until winter to experience a nor’easter? Ride The Great Nor’easter, which features a 95-foot drop that’ll surely get your heart pumping and adrenaline flowing.

Along with these, the Runaway Tram and Carousel are terrific family-friendly rides at the pier.

For those who enjoy scary rides, there’s Dante’s Dungeon, which takes you through a haunted castle filled with monsters.

Mariner’s Amusement Pier

Location: Schellenger Avenue and Boardwalk

Mariner’s Amusement Pier resembles a traditional amusement park. Here, you’ll find many classic rides, including:

Giant wheel at Morey's pier

Giant Wheel

The Giant Wheel is the biggest Ferris wheel at Morey’s Piers and an iconic part of the boardwalk. Reach the top, where you’ll be 156 feet high. That high, you’ll enjoy a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Jersey Shore.

Rollie’s Coaster

Kids and parents can enjoy Rollie’s Coaster together. This family coaster features three hills and a helix. Up to four guests can ride in the same car.

Tea Cups

Ride the Tea Cups to spin in an English-style teacup as fast as you’d like. While you spin, you’ll rotate around a massive teapot.

There are over 20 rides at Mariner’s. If you enjoy all of the rides or want a break from them, there are also three restaurants and shopping at the pier.

Adventure Amusement Pier

Location: Spencer Avenue and Boardwalk

No trip to Morey’s Piers would be complete without a visit to Adventure Amusement Pier. Some of Adventure’s top rides include:

The Great White

Sometimes called a “classic coaster with bite,” The Great White is an exhilarating wooden roller coaster. The ride starts with a 25-foot drop into a dark tunnel, followed by a 105-foot drop at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour.

Skyscraper

The Skyscraper proves you don’t have to go to the top of a tall building to touch the sky. Board the end of the Skyscraper’s 160-foot rotating arm. Once you’re strapped in, the arm rotates you up, down, backward, and upside-down for 2 minutes. You’ll then get a 60-second break before the ride begins all over again.

Springshot

If you’ve always wondered what it’s like to get shot out of a cannon, try the Springshot. On this extreme ride, springs and steel aircraft cables will launch you into the air at over 75 miles per hour. Enjoy the Springshot on your own or with a family member or friend. Once it’s over, you can buy a video of your experience.

In addition to these, Adventure offers the Grand Prix Raceway, where you can get behind the wheel of a go-kart and race against family and friends.

There’s also the Screamin’ Swing, which takes you at least 70 feet into the air at a g-force of more than 4.0.
